Who do you provide services to?
We provide services to children as young as 7 through to young adolescents, adults and elderly people. We provide services to both NDIS and Private funded participants.
What services do you provide and what they are?
Breaking Free Therapy provides a wide range of psychological services to children, adolescents and adults, including Positive Behaviour Support and therapeutic interventions like Counselling. Breaking Free Therapy also provides assessments, reports and interventions for a range of issues.
What are your current wait times for receiving Supports and Services?
Currently, there are no wait lists for receiving services of any kind. If you require services, please contact us.
When can I get an appointment?
As per our current availability, no wait time or list currently exists, supports are available, and we generally respond to all request within 1-2 business days. You can expect to receive a free, no-obligation initial consult within 5 working days of receipt of request.
What is the price for receiving services?
For Counselling and Positive Behaviour Support services and supports, the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (formerly the NDIS Price Guide) is the mainstay form of pricing to which we charge. The same fees apply for both Private and NDIS participants. Please refer to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits document. Travel Costs may apply.
How much funding do I need?
We provide services to all, irrespective of how much funding you have available. We are staunch advocates for access and will always individually tailor plans that suit your unique individual sets of needs and circumstances. The amount of funding you have determines the duration of your access to our services, not the quality of the service you receive from us.
What funding and payment types do you accept?
For privately funded participants, we currently only accept payment via:
Bank Transfer or Cash.
For NDIS participants, we accept payment for all three major funding types, that being:
Agency Managed, Plan Managed, and Self Managed.
Where are you based?
We are a Brisbane based company, but don’t let that fool you! We cover all areas from Sydney to Bathurst, Canberra to Jindabyne, Bourke to Toowomba to Brisbane to Cairns all the way out to Mt.Isa...and beyond.
Do you travel? If so, how far?
Our current service area stretches across all of Queensland and New South Wales. Travel costs will be determined based on individual plans and funding. However, we will not charge travel between Canberra to the Snowy Monaro areas.
How do you deliver your services?
We provide a diverse amount of service styles to suit your needs. These include face-to-face appointments (travel costs may apply in accordance with the NDIS Price Guide), telehealth appointments (no travel costs apply), or hybrid 50-50 telehealth and face-to-face services. This is tailored to individual needs.
